UPDATE: Two identified after police release video into criminal activity in Buckhorn area

Lexington Police say they have identified two people in a video they recently released in connection to criminal activity around a Lexington neighborhood.

Police say the two are teenagers, ages 14 and 16.

No further information was released but police say the investigation is ongoing into burglaries and attempted break-ins around the Buckhorn Drive/Squires Road area.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Lexington Police Department needs the community’s help in identifying two people who they say might have information about recent criminal activity in the Buckhorn Drive / Squires Road area.

Police say a home security camera recently captured two young men approaching a front door. After noticing the camera, the individuals immediately turned around and left. Several residents in the neighborhood have reported burglaries or attempted break-ins over the past two weeks. Police continue to investigate and have increased patrols in the area.

Anyone who recognizes the individuals in the video or has information about the burglaries is asked to contact Lexington Police by calling (859) 258-3600.
