Police investigating bank robbery in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington bank was robbed Tuesday morning by a man with a gun, according to police.

Lexington Police say a man came into the Fifth Third Bank at 1580 Leestown Road at 11:33 a.m. wearing a dark bandanna around his face and carrying a gun.

Bank employees say he was wearing a red hoodie with the Nike emblem on it.

Witnesses say he left the bank and got into a dark-colored SUV being driven by another man.

The SUV was last seen going inbound on Leestown Road.
