Police investigate possible murder-suicide in Winchester

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Winchester Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide Tuesday night.
The shooting occurred in a car in the driveway of 186 Spruce Court at about 7:30 p.m.
According to the Clark County, Deputy Coroner Katie Lisle, 22-year-old Esther Meza was shot several times by her estranged husband, 23-year-old Kino Kendall, who then shot himself in the head.
The Deputy Coroner says Meza was transported to the emergency room from the scene and was pronounced dead at the ER at 8:02 P.M.
Kendall was transported to UK hospital and died Wednesday morning.
According to the Deputy Coroner, the child the two shared was present during the shooting, but not injured in the incident.
Other witnesses also were in the area and emergency dispatchers received calls of several shots being fired during a domestic dispute, according to the Winchester Sun.
