Police investigate arson after Sixth Street fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Fire crews have ruled an overnight fire in Lexington an arson, after a home on East Sixth Street caught fire just before midnight last night.

Fire crews say it’s the same home that caught fire three weeks ago.

They say it is uninhabited; the utilities have been shut off and the home is scheduled for demolition.

Fire crews say evidence points to the fire being set intentionally.

Police are now searching for suspects.
