Police: Husband Stabbed Wife with Screwdriver During Fight

A couple’s late-night argument resulted in a husband stabbing his wife with a screwdriver, according to Lexington Police.

Officers were called to the Shell gas station at the New Circle Road and Eastland Parkway intersection shortly after midnight Monday.

They said that’s where they found the wife with a stab wound in her neck and shoulder area.

She was taken to UK Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Her husband, Gerald Williams, has been charged with assault.
