Police: Hotel clerk was dragged after being robbed

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A hotel clerk was dragged after a man robbed her, according to authorities.

Lexington Police say early Tuesday morning a man walked into Comfort Inn & Suites on Buena Vista Road, whispered to the clerk he had a gun and to give him all the money.

The clerk gave the suspect the money, took her by the arm and drug her to a nearby construction site, according to investigators.

Officials say the suspect then ran away from the scene.

No one was hurt in the incident, according to authorities.

Police say the suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves.
