Police: Fugitive arrested in Scott County

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – On Thursday Kentucky State Police made a traffic stop on I-75 near the 129 Mile marker in Scott County. 

They say the vehicle had a gas nozzle and hose still attached.

According to state police the driver, 62-year-old Sami A. Elias was listed as a fugitive through the National Crime Information Center, from York County, Pennsylvania. 

They say Elias had retail theft charges for over the counter drugs from a CVS Pharmacy Store.  

Elias was arrested and is now lodged in the Scott County Detention Center.
