Police Find Car Reportedly Involved In Accident And Shots Fired Incident

Lexington Police said what began as a disorder in a convenience store ended with shots fired, a collision and a search for a vehicle on Sunday.

Investigators said the disorder began inside the Stop-N-Shop Discount Foods store at the corner of Winburn Drive and McCullough Drive.

Police said as a woman walked away from the store, a VW Golf drove up and someone fired 3-to-4 shots at her.  Police said she wasn’t hit.

Police said while the shots were being fired, the driver slammed into a Dodge Durango, which caused damage to both vehicles.

Police said they later found the damaged VW Golf in the 800 block of Ward Drive.

So far, no arrests.
