Police: Drunk driver hits car, porch in Russell County

RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a driver plowed through several yards before slamming into a porch in Russell County over the weekend.

The Russell Springs Police Department say 38-year-old Nicholas Fields was drunk when he drove off West Kentucky 80 and went through yards, hit a parked car then struck a porch on Sunday.

Fields was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under influence. Police say he also had a warrant out for his arrest in connection to a theft of items from a business on Wilson Street in Russell Springs.
