Police arrest man for robbery of cousin, uncle at business

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have arrested a man they say tried to steal from his cousin’s place of employment, while holding him and his father at gunpoint.

According to police, 33-year-old Chad Parsley tried to steal from O’Reilly’s Auto Parts last Thursday, while his cousin was looking at his car.

They say the cousin saw Parsley stealing and confronted him, after which Parsley showed a gun and threatened to kill him.

Police say the Parsley’s uncle showed up during the fight and Parsley held him at gunpoint, threatening to kill him and his family.

They say during that interaction, the cousin was able to recover the stolen items.

Parsley was arrested Monday morning.
