Police: Alcohol found in child’s trick-or-treat bag in Shelby Co.

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Simpsonville are telling parents to check their child’s trick-or-treat bag after something unexpected turned up in one child’s – a bottle of alcohol.

The Simpsonville Police Department posted a picture on its Facebook page, showing the bottle of alcohol.

Police say they have received only one call from a parent who found alcohol in their child’s bag.

They are urging parents to look through their child’s trick-or-treat bag for anything suspicious.
