Police: 2 men deal drugs in front of marked police car

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say two men were dealing drugs right in front of police at a McDonald’s in Clay County.

Manchester Police says two officers in a marked police car were waiting for their food at the drive-thru when Restaurant Manager Jesse Fields walked out in front of them and handed a pill to Derrick Chadwell, who had ridden up on a bike. The officers say they got out and approached the men when Chadwell threw the pill on the ground. They say it turned out to be Hydrocodone.

The two were arrested on drug trafficking charges and Fields was also charged with possession of marijuana.
