Pneumatic qualifies for Kentucky Derby, wins final prep race

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Pneumatic has won the Pegasus Stakes at Monmouth Park in New Jersey, which is the final points race to get into the Kentucky Derby field.

Coming into this race, Pneumatic was 22nd in derby points, but, with the victory, now qualifies to run in the Derby September fifth.

He finished fourth in the Belmont Stakes.
