Pletcher’s “underdog duo”

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Todd Pletcher has four contenders this Derby.

Magnum Moon and Audible are getting the most love.

What about the other two?

Noble Indy has steadily and quietly done what he’s needed to do; winning his first two starts before faltering in the Risen Star only to rebound with a win in the Louisiana Derby.

Hear from Pletcher on why he thinks Noble Indy could be draped in roses come the first Saturday in May in the video.

None of these horses have run 1 ¼ mile to date.

So you never know what you’ll get come post time.

Vino Rosso won his first two starts before faltering in the Sam F. Davis and really hanging up in the Tampa Bay Derby; that all before winning the longest race of his career at 1 1/8 mile in the Wood Memorial.

With the hiccups in there, why does Pletcher like Rosso’s chances come Derby day?

Check out the video for more.
