Playing basketball for other people

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The basketball Cats may take on Thomas More Friday night, tip time set for 7 o’clock on the SEC Network, but the talk around Lexington is the game the Cats are playing for charity.

That game is on Monday night; the non-televised Kentucky Cares Classic against Morehead State at Rupp Arena.

While the game will be another chance for both teams to get game ready before the season tips off, it’s also a chance for players on both teams to give back.

Hear from Coach Cal and MSU’s Preston Spradlin in the video.
