Plane Stuck at Blue Grass Airport for Over 2 Hours

A flight coming in from St. Petersburg, Florida landed at Blue Grass Airport Monday morning shortly before 10, but got stuck on the tarmac because another plane was blocking the gate, according to Allegan Airline.

The St. Petersburg flight was unable to pull into the gate until around 11:30, which reportedly caused a plane from Fort Lauderdale to be delayed.

Officials with Blue Grass Airport said they are not responsible for actually getting the airplanes to the gate. That responsibility, they said, is the airline’s.
