Pikeville police officer shot and killed Tuesday night

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) — Pikeville Police say Officer Scotty Hamilton was shot and killed in the line of duty Tuesday night.

State Police are now conducting a murder investigation.

Hamilton was a 12 year veteran of the Pikeville Police Department.
