Person of interest taken into custody after Frankfort stabbing

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Frankfort say a woman was taken to UK hospital after being stabbed multiple times Friday morning.

Officers say they were called to a home in the 600 block of Reed Drive at around 9:40 a.m.

When they arrived, they say they found a 23-year-old woman who had been stabbed repeatedly.

She was taken by ambulance, and then airlifted to UK.

A person of interest has been taken into custody in connection to the stabbing, but no charges have been filed yet.

The investigation continues.
