Perry County Sheriff’s deputies arrest man for double shooting

BIG CREEK, Ky. (WTVQ) — According to the Perry County Sheriff, an arrest has been made in connection to a double shooting in Perry County Thursday night.

Deputies say they were called to the scene of a four-wheeler crash in Big Creek and found two people with gunshot wounds when they arrived.

According to deputies, both victims were airlifted to the hospital for their injuries.

They say the shooter is 45-year-old Christopher Eversole.

They say he was arrested without incident near his home.

He is currently housed at Kentucky River Regional Jail.
