People and pets escape house fire in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people and a dog escaped a house fire late Monday afternoon in Lexington, according to the fire department.
It happened around 5:49 p.m. in the 1100 block of Tatesbrook Drive.
The fire was mainly contained to the kitchen, according to firefighters.
The cause is under investigation.
Firefighters say the family can’t stay in the home due to smoke damage.
