Pedestrian killed in Nicholasville Tuesday morning

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- The name of a pedestrian killed in a crash Tuesday morning has been released.

The Fayette County Coroner says 22-year-old Rashawn Isaiah Jackson was killed on US 27 at Edgewood Drive in Nicholasville.

Transportation officials say it happened around 5:30 a.m.

The northbound lane of the bypass was shut down for several hours.
