Pedestrian killed in Jessamine Co.

JESSAMINE CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman is killed while walking along a road in Jessamine County.

It happened at around 5 a.m. Monday on U.S. 27.

Nicholasville Police told ABC 36’s Fadia Patterson that the woman was hit while walking along the median near the Bethel Harvest Church.

Police say some lanes of U.S. 27 in the area are closed while the the crash is investigated.
