Pedestrian Killed During Crash In Hopkins County

 Kentucky State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that left a pedestrian dead in Hopkins county.
  Investigators said Karen Daniels, 50, was driving on South Main Street in Madisonville on Sunday at 5:08 p.m. when she stopped to give Sarah Fraley, 19, a ride.
 She was walking around to get into the back seat on the driver’s side when a GMC Safari van, being driven by Amy Terry, 37, struck Daniels’ car, according to police.
 The van also hit Fraley.   
 She was taken to Baptist Health Madisonville where she was pronounced dead.  
 There were no other injuries from the collision.
 The accident is under investigation
