UPDATE: Driver of the car involved in fatal crash in Pike Co. identified
UPDATE: (7/30/18) BELFRY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The driver of the car in a crash that killed a pedestrian in Pike County has been identified.
State police say Cassie Tomblin, from Logan County West Virginia, and her two children were taken to the hospital following the crash. They had non-life threatening injuries.

BELFRY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman who was hit by a car and killed while walking along a road in Pike County Wednesday has been identified.
State Police say Robin Gail Porter was walking south on US 119 in Belfry around 10:00 a.m., when she was hit by a car. Investigators say after she was hit, the car then hit a utility pole and an earth embankment.
Porter was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges have been filed against the driver, according to KSP.
Initially, investigators thought two vehicles collided and that one of those vehicles then hit Porter, but after further investigation, it was determined there was only one vehicle involved.

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident in Pike County.
The accident happened around 10 a.m. Wednesday on US 119 in the Belfry community.
Police say two vehicles were involved in a crash and a pedestrian was hit by one of the vehicles.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pike County Coroner’s Office.
The names of the drivers and the victim have not been released.
