Pedestrian hit and killed in Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian.

State Police say it happened on US 460 in Paintsville on Thursday at around 10:25 p.m.

Troopers say 52-year-old Jimmy Craft, of Salyersville, was standing in the westbound lane of US 460 when he was hit by a vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Johnson County Coroner’s Office.

There is no word on possible charges.
