Paws 4 the Cause in urgent need of foster homes
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Paws 4 the Cause organization is in urgent need of foster homes for its increased intake of cats and dogs.
Anita Spreitzer, President of Paws 4 the Cause, says that over the past two months, the organization has seen an increase in animal being given up or that are in need of a safe haven.
She says they have been taking in 15 to 20 dogs each week, taking care of a total of 80 animals right now.
The organization is foster based as its kennel is not expanded yet to hold all the animals.
Spreitzer says foster homes are more needed now than ever.
“The more people we have, the more lives we can save, you know, we can only save the lives that we have people in place to help.”
Paws 4 the Cause is looking for as many fosters as possible. If interested click here.
