Village Branch library, Shiloh Baptist offer weekly vaccination clinics

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Public Library and Shiloh Baptist Church are partnering with HealthFirst Bluegrass to host a weekly COVID-19 vaccine pop-up sites.

The pop-up site will be open April 26-June 30 at the Village Branch Library at 2185 Versailles Road. Vaccines will be offered 1-4 p.m. Mondays by reservation or on a walk-in basis.

The site at Shiloh Baptist, located at 237 E. Fifth St. in Lexington, will operate 1-4 p.m. Wednesdays, April 28-June 30.

“HealthFirst Bluegrass is partnering with the community to increase access to vaccinations here in our community. We’re united in our common goal and mission to serve our community and offer them the resources they require to stay safe,” said Malia Jackson, school-based clinics director at HealthFirst Bluegrass.

HealthFirst Bluegrass will be administering the COVID-19 vaccine to those 18 years of age and older. There is no cost and it is open to all in the community.
