Paris builds for future

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – There’s a cliché that notes good things come in small packages.

If that’s true, the Paris Greyhounds are a bit of a conundrum now.

Tuesday, the Hunt Brothers all-sports training facility was unveiled at the Class A school.

The Hunt Bros. folks got things going with a $250,ooo capital donation.  The Judy Construction Company handled the in-kind building of the 4,500 square foot project with 360-plus donors in all.

No doubt a big day in the 152 year history of Paris Independent as it looks toward the future while honoring its past thanks to a wealth of support of giving from alumni and the community alike.

Head football coach Brian Washington was just happy to be there in hopes of seeing what it yields down the road; perhaps more greatness to go with the names of Blanton Collier and Bill Arnsparger.

Hear from Washington in the video.
