Pancake Breakfast to help honor Officer Ellis

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Every May, fallen officers are honored in Washington D.C., when their names are unveiled on the National Law Enforcement Memorial. Officer Daniel Ellis of Richmond will be added to that memorial this year.

Funds are being raised toward sending local officers to the unveiling, in the form of a Pancake Breakfast on February 27, from 9 am to 11 am.

All donations gathered at the breakfast will be put toward lodging, fuel, and food for the officers attending the ceremony in Washington D.C.

Local Police officers and volunteers from the community will be serving pancakes, bacon, juice, milk, and coffee.

If you’re interested in supporting your local law enforcement, and helping to honor the memory and sacrifice of Officer Ellis, come to First Baptist Church on Saturday.

The church is at 425 Eastern Bypass in Richmond.
