Overturned semi leads to fatal crash on I-75

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An  semi overturned on south-bound I-75 early Tuesday morning, which caused a fatal crash in stalled traffic.

Police say a semi overturned around 3 o’clock Tuesday morning, which slowed traffic to a stop.

They say a Ford Mustang crashed into a different semi, which was stopped in traffic.

The coroner was on scene to pronounce the driver of the Mustang dead.

The south-bound lanes are still closed and traffic is being re-routed through Iron Works Pike.
