Outdoor siren test scheduled for Wednesday in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Emergency Management is alerting Lexington residents to emergency siren testing scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

The tests are set to begin at 10:00 a.m., and will include chimes, wails, and other tones, as well as a voice alert.

Residents are reminded that the sounds are for testing only and that there is no emergency condition.
