One wounded in apparent accidental shooting in Berea

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ)- One person was taken to UK Hospital following what appears to be an accidental shooting in Berea, according to a report in the Richmond Register.

The report says the shooting occurred Tuesday night in the 100 block of Long Hollow Road.

Madison County EMS Director Carlos Coyle told the newspaper the victim’s injury was serious, but did not appear life-threatening.

The victim’s name wasn’t immediately released.
