UPDATE: 34-year-old man identified as fatal crash victim

UPDATE POSTED 8:40 A.M. TUESDAY, SEPT. 7, 2021

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 34-year-old man was killed Monday night when the motorcycle he was driving collided with an SUV at the intersection of Richmond Road and Fontaine Road.

Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn identified the victim as Brandon Joey Moment. Ginn said he was pronounced dead at 9 p.m.

Update at 10:50 p.m. on September 6, 2021:

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)  – Lexington Police say one person is dead after a collision involving a motorcycle and a car.

Another person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

Investigators say it happened just before 8:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Richmond Road and Fontaine Road.

The outbound lanes of Richmond Road were temporarily shut down while the department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) investigated the cause.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One person was killed Monday night in a collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.

The accident happened just before 8:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Richmond Road at the intersection with Fontaine Road.

Lexington Police and the coroner’s office are investigating.
