One person injured, shots fired at Lexington gas station
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Wednesday morning.
Authorities say reports came in around 5 a.m. about shots fired outside of Thornton’s Gas Station on Winchester Road.
Police say it started with a dispute between people in two vehicles.
They say one person was shot in the leg and was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say there’s no suspect description as of right now and says they’re still searching for the two vehicles.
The investigation is still ongoing.
