One person injured in early morning shooting
Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) — One person was injured in an early morning shooting on Sunday.
According to Lexington Police, around 3:00 a.m., an officer was patrolling near the intersection of New Circle Road and Eastland Drive when they saw a suspect in a car shoot into another vehicle. The suspect fled the scene in their vehicle.
Police found one victim who had been shot. The victim was transported to the hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.
