One person arrested after morning crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — One person has been arrested after an early morning crash.

According to police, around 5:40 Sunday morning officers were called for an accident on I-64 near mile marker 84.

Police say a car was stopped in the right lane and was hit in the rear by another car.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the driver of the car that was stopped in the right lane has been charged with DUI.
