One lane closed on Winchester Rd. as crews repair gas leak

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – One lane remains closed on Winchester Road as Columbia Gas crews work to repair a gas leak.

The leak occurred near the new Frederick Douglass High School between Patchen-Wilkes Drive and Sir Barton Way on Winchester Road.

Initially, all of Winchester Road was closed – all but one lane of outbound Winchester have now reopened.

No word on when the final lane will be cleared.
