UPDATE: Victim identified in crash in Madison County

The Madison County Coroner’s Office has identified the person killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning.

The coroner says he is 61-year-old Randy Houldridge, of Maryville, Tennessee.

According to the coroner, witnesses reported seeing Houldridge’s vehicle go off the road, strike an embankment then turn over onto its top.

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A crash on I-75 Wednesday morning has left one person dead.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the single-vehicle crash happened near Richmond mile marker 84 near Richmond just after 8:30 a.m.

The crash closed down the left lane on I-75.

All lanes were reopened around 10 a.m.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
