One injured in chain-reaction crash in Danville

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Danville Police say one woman was taken to the hospital after a chain-reaction crash Friday afternoon around 1:00 p.m.

Police say the crash happened near Hustonville Road and Lisa Avenue.

Investigators say 51-year-old Tammy Dugan, of Danville, was driving northbound on Hustonville Road when she ran into the back of a car driven by 25-year old Alex Grigsby, of Hustonville, who was stopped in traffic.  Police say the force of the collision pushed Grigsby’s car into an SUV in front of him driven by 25-year old Ashli Miller, of Danville, who was also stopped in traffic.

Police say a passenger in Dugan’s car, 60-year old Judy Travis, of Danville, was taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville by ambulance.

Police say no other injuries were reported.
