One injured, suspect at large after morning shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One person is in the hospital after being shot Thursday morning off North Broadway in Lexington, according to police.

Officials say the victim was taken to U.K. Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they believe the suspect and victim know each other.

Two houses were also hit by stray bullets. No one inside the homes was injured.

Police say they are still searching for a suspect.
