One hurt in crash involving dump truck on I-75
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One person was injured following an early-morning crash in Lexington Tuesday.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. on northbound I-75 at mile marker 117.
According to police, a car rear-ended a dump truck as the truck was pulling out of a construction area.
The driver of the car was briefly trapped and had to be removed by firefighters.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the passenger was not injured.
