One dead in fiery crash in Adair County

COLUMBIA, Ky. (WTVQ) – One person died in a fiery crash in Columbia, according to State Police. Investigators say the driver was headed west on Chestnut Corner Road when the vehicle left the road, traveled into a stream, struck a tree and caught fire.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity hasn’t been released. The accident is still under investigation.
