One arrested after shots fired in Marshall Co.

BENTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a man is behind bars, accused of firing a fun at a Department of Community Based Services Worker.

Troopers say the worker was conducting a home visit on Abraham Road, when 51-year-old James Butler began firing shots at her from a long gun.

The worker was able to get away without being injured.

Investigators say they came to the home and were able to arrest Butler, charging him with wanton endangerment.

He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
