One arrested after hit and run into home

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A man has been arrested after a car crashed into a home early Saturday morning.

According to police around 1 a.m. officers were called to Colchester Dr. near Russell Cave Rd. for car that crashed into a home.

Upon arrival, they say they found a car had crashed through the front door of the home.

Three people inside the home made it out and are unharmed.

Police confirm that 18-year-old Bryan Arias-Gomes was charged in the incident.

He is currently being held in the Fayette County Detention Center.

Arias-Gomes faces charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and driving a vehicle without a license.
