Oklahoma slaying suspect arrested in western Kentucky

PADUCAH, Ky. (AP) — A suspect in an Oklahoma City slaying has been arrested in western Kentucky.

West Kentucky Star radio (http://bit.ly/1xK96my ) reports Travis Richards was arrested Wednesday evening in Paducah on a warrant for murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.

McCracken County sheriff’s deputies, Paducah police officers and U.S. Marshals converged on a trailer where Richards was located and arrested him without incident.

The station reports the slaying happened on Dec. 27.

Richards was lodged in the McCracken County jail. It wasn’t immediately clear whether he has an attorney.
