UPDATE: Wayne County escapee captured

MONTICELLO, Ky. (WTVQ) – Freedom was short-lived for a man who walked away from a work release detail Monday in Wayne County, according to the jailer.

Deputies say they found and arrested 45-year old Robert Mullins not long after he walked away from a work release detail at the courthouse.

The jailer says Mullins was initially in jail accused of flagrant non-support out of Russell County.  Now, you can add Escape 2nd Degree to that list of charges.
