Downed tree caused power outages in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A power outage in Lexington caused traffic tie-ups and forced some schools to dismiss early on Monday.

According to Kentucky Utilities a tree fell on a wire.

Some private schools in the area of the power outage dismissed early.

Crews completed repairs on the line around 3 p.m.
