Northbound I-75 at Newtown Pike to see lane closure Tuesday night

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of scheduled closures for northbound Interstate 75 in Lexington with temporary closures necessary for bridge deck repair operations at the Newtown Pike/KY 922 Overpass Bridge.

Tuesday, October 12 – 6:30 p.m. until 12 a.m. (midnight)

Interstate 75 –  Northbound

• the right/slow lane will be closed
• the Newtown Pike/KY 922 On Ramp to Interstate 75 Northbound will be closed

Alternate Route:

• motorists can utilize Newtown Pike/KY 922 to Ironworks Pike/KY 1973 to the Interstate 75 Northbound Ramp

All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
