Non-profit asks for donations to continue helping seniors

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A nonprofit in Knox County is asking for donations to continue providing services to senior citizens.

For years, Knox County Help operated the Senior Citizen Center in Barbourville, but they don’t have enough funding to maintain the services.

KCEOC Community Action Partnership has stepped in to fill the role, but have determined it needs $26,000 this year to do so.

The center has already received donations from the Knox County Fiscal Court and Barbourville City Council.

To make a donation, send a check to KCEOC Community Action Partnership at P.O. Box 490, Barbourville, KY 40906. Donations can also be made in person at its main office in Gray, Ky.
