Nominations open for Kentucky Teacher of the Year

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Nominations are now being accepted for the Kentucky Teacher Awards.

The State Department of Education in partnership with Valvoline are now accepting nominations for any full-time public school teacher in the state with at least three years of experience.

All nominated teachers are required to complete a formal application.

The Kentucky Teacher of the Year will represent the state in the national competition.

The deadline to submit a nomination is Feb. 15. Judging will take place in March.
